ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected DATE got NUMBER in SQL data model per KM 2888420.1

Summary:

When trying to use the SQL provided in KM Fusion CST: SQL Running Behind Analyze Standard
Purchase Cost Variances (Doc ID 2888420.1) i am getting an error in the explain plan. Please review the SQL and Explain plan and help me resolve the issue.

This happens when I run the SQL: Analytics > Create DM> SQL Query > copy paste the SQL from KM: 2888420.1

as shown below, click on generate explain plan and get , Error Msg = ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected DATE got NUMBER

Please see uploaded explain plan and help me correct the SQL as clearly there is an issue with it and it comes from Oracle.
