Disable notifications for internal and external candidates

Hi Experts,

The 'Perform Recruiting Candidate Selection Process Actions' ESS job has been running in the system with an 'Error' status for almost five months. We are planning to cancel and reschedule the process, but we are concerned about the potential impact. I was informed that rescheduling it might trigger notifications associated with the Candidate Selection Process (CSP) again, causing candidates to receive notifications they may have already received before the error occurred.

Q1: Could someone please confirm if this is indeed the functionality of this ESS job?

Q2: How can we prevent candidates from receiving notifications the old or pending notifications?
