Checklist should get assigned to employees when Termination is initiated through HDL

Employees gets assigned with a checklist whenever a Termination gets initiated manually from the system as a workflow, but the same checklist is not getting assigned when the termination is initiated through HDL.

Is there a option to get the checklist assigned for the records which is updated through HDL?
