Can Akamai be used as a Reverse Proxy Server on the External Careers site?

Summary:

Our customer has an existing relationship with Akamai and would like to leverage Akamai as the RPS for Oracle Recruiting External Career Site.
Is this a supported solution / are there any other customers using Akamai as an RPS?

If so, are there instructions available on how to configure this?

EDIT: I am aware that the documented solution is here: . The customer has indicated they do not want to do this and want to leverage Akamai instead.
