hi all

i created an Ubuntu Linux server using an 22.04 image ( Canonical-Ubuntu-22.04-Minimal-2024.08.27-0 ) all installed correctly but when i logged to the instance Ubuntu ask me to upgrade to latest LTS Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, i upgraded the linux intance from the console.

now my machine uses Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS but at the cloud level the creation image keeps 22.04 , so

  • its correct to update and ubuntu instance ??
  • shall i recreate the instance using the correct ubuntu image , now 24.04 ??
  • is there some issue or problem if i keep using 24.04 and image as 22.04 ??

Howdy, Stranger!
