Aquisiton Cost Adjustment for Standard Cost Method->24D Mandate Upgrade

We are using Standard Cost Method currently. The mandatory new feature-"The redesigned acquisition cost processor – released in Update 22D"

Does this feature Impacts standard cost method as well?

We are using standard cost method with purchase order Invoice Matching option: Receipt.

we have not opted Acquisition cost processor till now. All the invoice variances we are expensed out.we are not bringing them into inventory valuation.
we are going through the recording & the PDF attachment shared. at the end of the slide the account entries for standard cost method is mentioned as below. does this means it won't impact Standard cost method?
