Unassociated Column Not showing for new products Demand Pivot Table

Old items were discontinued and new Items were created. After Demand Plan runs, user is normally able to add launch date. This is done via UI on the Unassociated Column. However, for some reason the unassociated column is not showing in the pivot table when the user selects the new items. Show Unassociated checkbox is selected in the selector tool and within the same table, the unassociated column is showing for other items it is only on the new items that it does not show.

Any idea what might be causing this? Here are some screenshots.
