Reassign BSV to another Legal Entity

Summary:

We are looking to reassign a balancing segment value from one legal entity to another – is this something that can be done and is it as simple as deleting and adding within the appropriate Legal Entity under the ‘Assign Balancing Segment Values to Legal Entities’ screen?

Items to note:

There are in-progress, current and posted transactions in these BSV’s under the old Legal Entity

We would still need to report (for tax purposes) under Legal Entity 2 & 3 for the 2024 year.

Example: We want to move BSV 3 & BSV 4 to be under Legal Entity 1 beginning 1/1/25.

Legal Entity 1 = BSV 1 & BSV2

Legal Entity 2 = BSV 3
