Does anyone know why the two-way communication might not be working in recruitment?

When we communicate with candidates from the recruitment module via their application on a requisition, we can't find where their response is going. Can someone please let me know where I should be looking? It's not in messages on the candidate and I don't see any activity on the req itself as far as responses to emails sent via Oracle recruitment.
