How can we setup a default value on a person assignment DFF segment?

Setup default value on a DFF segment

Hi,

We have enabled the person assignment DFF (Descriptive Flexfield) and defined a segment, on which we would like to default a certain value.

But noticed this value is never defaulted, not for previous, nor for new records…

How can we default the value we need?

I found a note saying only contextual segments can be defaulted, but we do not need context, as this should be available for all persons/employees.
