Associate multiple business unit with multiple legal entities

Summary:

We have a requirement where 1 business unit will be associated with multiple legal entities, and also multiple business units will be associated with multiple legal entities. For example:

Business Unit A will sign contract and transact with a supplier under Legal Entity A and Legal Entity B

Business Unit B will sign contract and transact under Legal Entity B and Legal Entity C

So 1 business unit will use multiple legal entities, and if we look from Legal Entity B's perspective, multiple BU will use it as well.

Is this technically possible in Oracle AP (and possibly beyond AP module)?
