In PIM , do we have a functionality to reserve certain Item numbers

Summary:

There is an ask from the customer where my customer needs to reserve certain specific numbers for the Items that are there say.. if there are certain Items that are starting with series with 11XXXX , we need other set of items to start with 22XXXX , but please note these 2 numbers are to be in same Item Class only. we are creating only 1 item class under the Root Item class or we might use the Root item class. Please let us know how we can take it forward.
