Redwood UI not allowing employees to submit job application with a single click in OM

We have enabled employee self-service flows in opportunity marketplace and it was working fine. Started observing an intermittent issue wherein employees cannot submit their job application with initial click on 'Submit' button in 'Apply for a Job' page. Page would stay AS IS with Submit button active. Employees have to click second time to submit their job application. This is a very bad employee experience and impacts internal mobility opportunities for employees.
