Recruiters intermittently not receiving messages from candidate in two way communication

Summary:

Recruiters are not receiving messages intermittently from candidates. The recruiter sent emails to candidates and there is back and forth between the candidate and the recruiter, however some of the messages sent from the candidate have not been received.

We use Microsoft O365 cloud services, including for IMAP. There's not an availability issue on our side
