Problem:

We're facing a critical issue in configuring account hierarchies for our production setup, which is scheduled to start tomorrow. We need immediate guidance on the optimal approach.

Current Scenario:

We have two distinct hierarchy structures:

Structure 1:

Parent 1: ABC

Children: 1, 2, 3, etc.

Parent 2: XYZ

Children: 4, 5, 6, etc.

Structure 2:

Children: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.

Go to "Manage Account Hierarchies", We've identified two potential methods:

Method 1:

Create a single tree linked to Natural Account Value Sets with two versions:

Active version: Contains the hierarchy 1

Inactive version: Contains the hierarchy 2, but cannot be activated as it will lead to an error. Cannot have two active versions in the same tree.
