How to Configure Costing with Mixed Source Segments in Oracle Fusion HCM

Hello Oracle Community,

I’m working on setting up costing for an element in Oracle Fusion HCM for QA legislation, and I’ve run into a specific requirement. Here’s the scenario:

  1. Costing Requirement:
    • Our cost structure includes 8 segments.
    • All segments should pick their values from the element-level configuration, except for one segment, which should pick its value from person-level (assignment) costing.
  2. Challenge:
    • When I configure fixed costing, it doesn’t pull assignment-specific attributes (it only applies the values from the element setup).
    • On the other hand, if I set the element to costed, it starts picking up assignment attributes, but I want this to apply to only
