View and modify Person in Person Management

Hi,
We would like to allow a custom role to search and modify Person through the Person Management section.
At the moment we have assigned the privilege "Manage Person Work Area" to the custom role to unlock the Person Management app.
When we search for a person we have the results but they are not "clickable" (can't be modify), how can we resolve this problem at privilege level?
