how to add multiplier of salary to approval workflow.

I have a requirement , when employee apply for personal contribution, the approval flow should work based on the employees current salary. If the amount entered is more than 3 times the salary , then the approval flow should be there. I am unable to find the option to add multiplier in approval workflow. Do we have the option in BPM worklist. Any inputs.
