Why is the material quantity calculated incorrectly during a roll-up cost in Oracle Fusion Cloud?

When performing a roll-up cost in Oracle Fusion Cloud, the resource and overhead costs are calculated correctly. However, the material cost is incorrect due to a discrepancy in the quantity of material needed per unit.

For example:

  • Each unit of the finished product requires 5.44 KG of a specific component.
  • For a batch of 3,000 units, the correct total material required should be: 3,000×5.44=16,320.0 KG.
  • However, the roll-up calculation shows 164.20 KG, which is off by a factor of 10.

This results in an incorrect unit cost for the material, impacting the overall accuracy of the cost roll-up.
