Is it possible to add a new default State in Recruiting CSP

Summary:

We want to add a new default State to each phase within our Candidate Selection Process . We need to be able to select an appropriate reason code for this new default state the same as the current default states " Rejected by Employer and Withdrawn by Candidate. Is that possible ? If not , is there a workaround for this scenario ?
