How to add Holidays in HR Helpdesk

I am attempting to add Holidays that will not be counted towards the SLAs in HR Helpdesk.

Does adding the Holiday's in Setup and Maintenance > Search > Calendar events accomplish this (Provided the "Coverage" includes the geography of the assigned worker), or is there somewhere else that the Holidays need to be added
