Inactive line manager not getting updated with 1up Line manager for direct reports

Summary:

  1. Position synchronisation is enabled
  2. a line manager is terminated
  3. ran the process "Synchronize Person Assignments from Position"
  4. while checking on the direct reports employment page, the same line manager with inactive status is showing

issue: the inactive line manager should ideally be updated with 1up line manager and all the direct reports should be assigned to 1up line manager.
