Can we use both Classic and Next Gen HR Help Desk

Hello Experts,

We have a requirement where there are 2 different types of Help Desk Requests and the access to raise 2nd type should be available restricted set of employees. Also, the 2 categories of request should not be available in the same page.

The workaround we have suggested is that Next Gen HR Help Desk can be used for the first type of requests and the classic HR Help Desk can be used for the second type of request.

Now the question is can we use both Next Gen as well as Classic HR Help Desk at the same time? and will this module be deprecated by oracle in future?
