Cannot find rehired employee in the person spotlight page

Summary: An employee who was terminated in the year 2022 has been rehired on 9th Jan 2024. The following is the behavior in Person Management and Person Spotlight page:

Person Management:

  1. The employee's active record doesn't show in the basic search.
  2. The employee's active record show's up in advanced search only.

Person Spotlight:

  1. The active record show up at all.
  2. Only the inactive record of terminated relationship shows up upon applying the filter.

Does anyone have idea on what could be causing this issue? or how to resolve the same?
