How to Filter DFF in Document of Records to Show Only Future Dates?

I need help configuring a Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) in Document of Records to display only records with future dates (today or later).
• The DFF is based on a date field.
• I want to filter the values so users only see records where the date is >= today’s date.

Has anyone implemented a similar requirement?
