hide gender and date of birth fields for HR specialist but should be accessible from employee view

Summary:

We have a client requirement to hide few fields identified as sensitive info for a specific group of HR's for which we have performed VBS personalization on Gender and date of birth fields for HR view under "my client groups" but this is also impacting the HR's employee view under "Me" tab.

please suggest a possible solution or workaround to address this issue.
