How Position Synchronization works for Assignment changes

Summary:

We urgently need to understand in absolute full detail how the pos sync process picks position rows which will correct/ update assignment rows. This needs to consider the following parameters which exist for the pos sync process:

- Pos sync effective change for the enterprise or legal entity

- Pos sync days parameter in the process

- Pos sync legal entity parameter

Also, we need to understand the same when a correction or update is made via the UI:

- How are assignment rows picked which are corrected/ updated

- Is this in any way influenced by an effective dated change to the position sync
