Subject area Item Revisions has less records than in egp_system_items_b

Summary:

To quickly extract a set of items from a specific organization I used subject area Product Management - Item Revisions Real Time to do the analysis and extract records to Excel. This for particular inventory organization and status <> Inactive

I than ran query in OTBI using data model where I use the same inputs to query against egp_system_items_b. Using:

• organization_id
• inventory_item_status

I also confirmed that there are only 3 statuses assigned to the items. Active, Phase-Out and Inactive.

And then find a mismatch in number of items. In table there are 1208 with status Active but in the report from subject area there are 1183 Active. The number of items in the Phase-Out matched in qty.. How can it be that I find a mismatch in number of items from data model versus using subject area where I expected a match. Need the output such that we can start a cutover activity by updating the items in the extract.
