How many attributes can we accommodate on Item master

Summary:

We are integrating Fusion PDH with our client legacy systems for Finished Goods item imports and BOM imports. The client has a lot of information stored in their legacy systems pertaining to their manufacturing process (that comes up currently in their Job tickets) that they would like to have stored in Fusion PDH. The number of such attributes can be around 400+.

What is the maximum number of attributes that we can have on Item master? Please let us know what are the pitfalls (if any) in having such huge number of attributes created and stored in Item master
