payroll statutory paternity pay 52 weeks

edited Mar 11, 2025 2:30PM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 1 comment

Summary:

Prior to April 2024, paternity leave could be taken within 56 days of the child's birth. However, from April 2024, this was extended to 52 weeks.

In this case, the child's birth date is 30/06/2024, and paternity leave was entered for 3rd February to 16th February 2025. It appears that the formula in the system may not have been updated to reflect the April 2024 change, which is causing an error.
