Supplier Item creation from Create Product option in Supplier Portal

Summary:

Supplier created item from supplier portal and spoke system schedule option is set to "On Data Load". Item created in supplier portal visible in PIM under Supplier Uploads but do not get imported automatically though "On Data Load" is set. (Same works for the item uploaded at supplier portal)

There are two different questions as par of this.

1. A supplier user created item from the Create Product option under Manage Products. After submitting at Supplier Portal the item will be visible in PIM as submitted. But do not automatically get imported. Is it expected behavior to manually import by data steward ? Because when schedule option of spoke system is set to "Manual", then Product Data Steward should ideally import manually in case of "On Data Load" schedule it should automatically import. Please help here in understanding
