Dfferent Versions of a KIT item

in Product Master Data Management

Hello Experts,

I have a KIT assembly with 10 components, and one or two components will change based on which BU they are available in. At the moment, we have defined the item structures in the master org, and creating different KIT items to cater to this requirement is not a practical solution, as it would result in thousands of new items. What is the best solution?
