what is the best practice to add out of class assignment without step
Summary:
Currently, when we enter out-of-class assignments, we always assign them to Step A since it is the lowest step option in the drop down. It is not accounted for on the payroll side since we use a separate formula to calculate the pay for out-of-class assignments. Later, we have to manually clean up the records to update the salary on the out of class assignments to 0 and remove Step A.
Is there a more efficient way to handle the process for adding out of class assignment without a step?
