Preferred Name format in Publicly accessible Redwood pages (i.e. My Activity Centre, Connections)

Summary:

Currently we have a Preferred Name format setup, to display the name specified by an employee they want to be called (typically this is not their legal name). This is essential to an organization who is recording employee name preferences. However, in the public pages accessible across the organization by other employee's such as Connections which is a redwood page, it still reflects the Full Name. This is sensitive information as many employees would not want their Full Name to be reflected across public pages in the system rather their preferred name.

How can we change the name in the Organization Chart and other public pages where employees are searching across the organization to reflect Preferred Name ?
