Can citizenship status like 'Permanent Resident' be captured from the Candidate

Summary:

Client is looking at capturing Citizenship Status from Candidates like Permanent Resident as part of Job Application Flow. I understand that Citizenship Country (Nationality) can be captured as part of Person EIT Fields as EFFs. Would it be possible to add Status to this as well.
