Managing Task Manager Template/Schedule Viewers

Hi FCCS Experts! New FCCS administrator here, asking for some help.

I am curious as to how teams manager their Task Manager Template/Schedule Viewers to ensure the appropriate parties have access.

It seems like this is meant to be configured on a per-user basis, which seems against security best practices. Generally, we want to have role-based security wherever we can. This approach currently has our application with a bunch of service admins so they can work with all of the templates/schedules, regardless of the access role. Is there a config step somewhere to enable groups for this that I'm missing? Or tips and tricks on keeping this cleaner?
