Maturity date is disabled after the payment method is enabled for Bills Payables

Summary:

Bills Payables functionality - I enabled payment method with Bills Payables as checked. Now, when I create a quick payment, the maturity date field is disabled and throws and error as 'JBO-27023: Failed to validate all rows in a transaction'. I have the same payment method on an invoice & payment. Also, can we not add maturity date for PPR? Kindly advise.
