Why the course if completed by user is still shown as 'Not Started'

One of the user has completed the course but still under My Learning Tab on the course it shows as 'Not Started' but when clicked on the course it shows as Completed. Also under Learning Assignments/Course > Learners> it shows as 'Not Started' . What could be missing that it does not display as 'completed'
