Restart 'Purge interface tables' from another user in 'Maintenance' mode

I want to schedule the job 'Purge interface tables' from another user in 'Maintenance' mode.
This is not possible according to several notes.

Eg.:
In note https://support.oracle.com/support/?kmContentId=2579910&page=sptemplate&sptemplate=km-article
https://support.oracle.com/support/?kmContentId=2615192&page=sptemplate&sptemplate=km-article

Is that still how it works?

Do I need to run 'Purge interface tables' several times with different parameters?

In the logfile I can see several sections related to different modules in Oracle.
Each section contains 'InterfaceOptionsId' but the parameters in the job 'Purge interface tables' are text.

When we implemented Oracle Cloud a few years ago it was scheduled by a system-user from our implementation partner named 'Reports.team'.

Howdy, Stranger!
