ANC_PER_ABS_DAILY_DTLS - Issues with Overnight Shifts / Absence Breakdown

Summary:

We want to report on absences related to a shift, however the table seems to store the hourly breakdown per day rather than per shift start date.

Example;

25/06/2024 21:00 to 26/05/2024 06:00 - 9 Hours (8.5 Worked 0.5 Break)

We would ideally want it to show absence on 25/06/2025 as 8.5 however the table stores it down as

25/06/2025 - 3 hours

26/06/2025 - 5.5 hours

Which is technically correct as they had those hours on the respective calendar dates.

This further becomes a problem if they were absence for more than 1 day; example

25/06/2025 21:00 to 27/06/2025 06:00

As the table then stores it as

25/06/2025 - 3 hours (21:00 to 00:00)

26/06/2025 - 8.5 hours (5.5 hours 00:00 to 06:00 + 21:00 to 00:00 from the next shift)

Howdy, Stranger!
