Interlinking 2 different Document of Records

Hi,

We have a requirement where we have created 2 different DOR and want to link them together. Like when we open and fill one DOR it should contain a link to the next DOR and when we submit the 2nd DOR, both DOR should get submitted automatically.

Is this possible in system? If yes can someone please help me with how it is done.
