Override Notice Period with Garden Leave Period in Employment Page

Dear Team,

We have configured a new flex field called 'Garden Leave Period' on the Employment Page. The business requirement is to ensure that when the 'Garden Leave Period' is updated, it overrides the employee's default notice period.

When an employee submits their resignation, the system should calculate their exit date based on the greater of their notice period or the 'Garden Leave Period.' For further understanding, I have mentioned a sample scenario and attached a screenshot FYR.

Example:
Employee 'X' tenders their resignation on 01-Jan-2025. By default, their notice period is 2 months, meaning their last working day would be 01-Mar-2025. However, due to a signed 'Service Transition' agreement, the 'Garden Leave Period' is set to 6 months. In this case, the system should reflect the updated exit date as 01-Jul-2025 based on the longer 'Garden Leave Period'.
