Possibility to have a Read Only Administrator in Data Exchange Integration setup

Summary:

When registering an EPM Cloud application in Data Exchange, is it possible to have an account that only has read access to the application. We want to avoid using service admin to restrict team from logging into source application or writing to source application.

We tried using an account provisioned as User and Power User but got 401 authentication error.
