With the move to Identity Access Management, we are hoping to better understand the functionality and limitations for customers using Fusion Applications/HCM SAAS.

In a recent webinar , a panelist advised that usernames cannot be updated in IAM (around 10 minute mark). For pending workers, their username will be defaulted to their work email, which will initially be entered as their home email. They will get a work email, but not until they have gone through some of their preboarding steps. How will we update their username moving forward? Will we still be able update their username in Oracle fusion security console and then create an additional user account for their employee record in IAM?
