Stop defaulting of the location for a selected department on hire, promotion, change assignment etc.
Summary:
We have captured the location details on the Departments in the Work Structure. As expected, while performing any HR transactions, the location gets defaulted for a selected Department. But due to this defaulting behaviour, HR users forget to change the default location to update it to the real location the person supposed to have. If we want to continue to have locations captured on Department definitions, is there a way we can stop defaulting of the location for a selected Department? Can we use Auto Complete or any other configuration to stop this default behaviour?
