How can I load the manager in the department (Organization Manager Information)?

Hi

I want to load the manager in the department under the Organization Manager Information. Is this possible with HDL or Spreadsheet? Could you send me an example? And is this field visible at assignment level for the employee? What is the benefit from having an Manager on Department level only for Reporting?
