The barcode is not working without "Barcode Identifier Prefix"

Summary:

The barcode provided by the manufacturer does not contain any prefix; it starts with 01, which represents GTIN.

In the barcode configuration, "Barcode Identifier Prefix" is not mandatory and I have configured a Barcode format without the prefix. But system is not accepting values of the barcode.

Example string 010500045606557321047598405572681725013110475124:01 - 05000456065573 - GTIN21 - 04759840557268 - Serial17 - 17250131 - Lot Expiry10 - 475124 - Lot

There is no barcode identifier prefix in this string, and the system is not accepting it. Throwing error: Enter a valid item.
