SYMPTOMS

Below messages are noticed in the /var/log/messages:

kernel: smp: csd: Detected non-responsive CSD lock (#1) on CPU#1, waiting 5000000026 ns for CPU#00 do_flush_tlb_all+0x0/0x2f(0x0).)
kernel: smp: #011csd: CSD lock (#1) unresponsive.)
kernel: smp: csd: Re-sending CSD lock (#1) IPI from CPU#01 to CPU#00)
kernel: smp: csd: CSD lock (#1) got unstuck on CPU#01, CPU#00 released the lock.)

CAUSE

The message "Detected non-responsive CSD lock" means that a CSD lock has been held by a CPU for an extended period, and the system is waiting for the lock to be released. This can happen if the CPU holding the lock is stuck or experiencing some other issue that prevents it from releasing the lock.
