Requested Date in RSS Cart is not editable

I have used VB studio to move Requested Delivery Date to Shopping Cart - View however I don't seem to be able to make this field editable. Plse confirm how to make the field editable from the Shopping Cart - View.

My client is creating requisitions for 10s of items sometimes and delivery must be the same date for all of the lines. It is unacceptable to have to click into each line in the cart to update the Requested Date hence I need to have the field on the Shopping Cart - View with edit available.
