Setting Up SSO Authentication for Oracle EPM Cloud REST API

Working on using REST API of Oracle EPM Cloud and want to set up Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication for a secure setup. Can you please explain the steps to configure SSO authentication? I would also appreciate any tips for better security and examples of how to manage authentication tokens. We already login to Planning Cloud web instance using SSO, not sure how to use the same for running a REST API.
